1. What cookies are and how we use them
1.1 Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies include pixels, tags, local storage and software development kits in apps. In this policy, "cookies" covers all of them.
1.2 Trusted Garage Network, operated by RMCMS Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales, uses cookies on trustedgaragenetwork.com and our apps to:
- make the Platform work and keep it secure;
- remember your cookie preferences and, if you allow it, your sign-in email;
- measure traffic and understand how people use the Platform, so we can improve it; and
- store your marketing preference. Advertising tags are not currently loaded by this consent feature.
1.3 We only set cookies that are strictly necessary without asking. All other cookies are off until you choose to accept them. This follows the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) and UK GDPR. Our Privacy Notice explains how we use any personal data collected through cookies.

When you first visit, our cookie banner lets you Accept all, Reject all or Manage preferences by category. Rejecting is as easy as accepting, and the Platform works fully if you reject optional cookies. We ask again when our consent notice changes or your saved choice is removed. Choices remain on this device until you change or clear them.
3. Cookies we use
The website uses browser storage as well as cookies. The following reflects the current consent implementation.

Google Analytics is not active unless a measurement ID is configured. The consent controls also support an optional configured analytics script, which must be disclosed here before it is enabled. This website does not currently load Microsoft Clarity, Google Ads, Meta or LinkedIn tracking through its consent feature. Separate payment providers may use necessary security cookies on their own payment pages.
We use Google Consent Mode when Google Analytics is configured. Optional analytics storage is denied by default, and the analytics script loads only after you accept analytics. Google's cookie policy explains its technologies.
4. Managing your choices
- On our site: select Cookie settings in the footer of any page to change or withdraw your consent at any time.
- In your browser: you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will stop parts of the Platform, such as signing in, from working.
- Google Analytics: you can also install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
- Advertising: you can manage interest-based ads through Your Online Choices and your ad settings on Google, Meta and LinkedIn.
- In our apps: you can reset your advertising ID or limit ad tracking in your device's privacy settings.
5. Changes and contact
We may update this policy when we change the cookies we use or the law changes. The date at the top shows when it was last updated, and we will ask for your consent again if we add new optional cookies.
